"Conventional Wisdom"

Greetings All,

       
             Success relies on a firm foundation, despite the subject matter.  In this case, the subject is the future of the United States.  The foundation that needs to be addressed are our children.  From birth an example of excellence needs to be established.  Our society must focus on the environment that our kids are witnessing and realize that change wont come overnight unless we start today. To explain, there is a culture of poverty.  Generation after generations are unable to break the cycle of poverty.  Hence they become products of their environment.  In essence, more resources are needed to identify our children who's parents are not setting that example of excellence and build academy based schools, that stresses discipline, physical fitness, and academic excellence from pre-K through four years of college.  These academies need to be located in the heart of impoverished areas for the world to see that our country is leading the way on dealing with poverty.

          Most addicts and drug abuser are beyond recovery.  Why should their children be sucked down the drain with them.  We can save this particular portion of our population and break the cycle poverty.
This would provide our society with a stronger foundation of adults who have been groomed since a child to make advantageous decisions. Ultimately, they will teach their offsprings the same lessons they were taught. Conventional Wisdom suggest!
