Family,
Fact,
This book was published 6 years before the Civil War in 1875 by Harriet Beecher Stowe.
Advice,
Read it or listen to the audio book. Put it on your "Bucket List".
Opinion,
This book is a work of Art! Considering the time this book was written, it's quite possible that this piece of historical American literature alone ignited the flames of the Civil War (1861-1865). For far too long, the general public has regarded the name "Uncle Tom" in a derogatory fashion. However, nothing could be further from the TRUTH. Truth is, Uncle Tom was a man who was the epitome of LOVE with unwavering VALUES purely manifested by his beliefs in the teachings of the BIBLE; which in the end cost him his life. All things considered, the point I'm striving to make is despite the seeming inconsistencies, the toils of Uncle Tom's misfortunes and his sound biblical ideologies should be memorialized and revered with commendable prudence.
